Magic Food & Café is a modest, no-frills café tucked into an industrial pocket of Trumpers Way in London’s W7 area. It clearly serves as a reliable, everyday spot for the local working crowd, especially those from nearby factories and workshops. The interiors have an unpolished, lived-in feel that leans into a nostalgic, slightly worn Eastern European vibe—think late-80s or early-90s canteen style—which oddly complements the home-cooked character of the food on offer.

The menu blends classic British café staples, like hearty English breakfasts and eggs on toast, with a sincere focus on Polish comfort dishes such as ogórkowa (cucumber soup) and krupnik (barley soup). This mix makes it a good place for anyone looking for substantial, straightforward meals rather than casual café snacks or artisan coffees. The portions come generous and satisfying, delivering solid value that locals appreciate, with sausages, bacon, and eggs usually the star players.

Most visitors here seem to lean towards filling breakfasts and simple lunch options. The sausage baguette and Polish soups get consistent nods for being particularly authentic and made with care. While the café isn’t geared for a lingering, airy coffee break or weekend brunch crowd, its compact size and friendly staff offer a quietly welcoming environment if you need a solid start to a working day or a straightforward meal without fuss.

Visitors should be aware that Magic Food & Café can get quite busy during typical breakfast or lunch rushes, which is a testament to its local popularity—but it’s still a small place, so seating can be tight. Early mornings or mid-afternoon visits might provide a bit more breathing room. For anyone curious about Eastern European flavors grounded in an honest, working-class London setting, this is a spot that delivers without pretense.

Great cafe with home made polish food and all the usual cafe food. Very good prices, fantastic quality, really nice staff. Just brought a typical polish sour soup with herbs in it. I would've shown you a picture of the sausage roll... But I ate it. Have had BLT in the past. Very good! Probably best cafe in 1 mile radius.

This man missed his opportunity as a chef. Hes polish sausage in a bun was so carefully done with love. High quality ingredients with a very reasonable price. The cafe itself is a bit worn but that just ads to the whole builder/80s 90s eastern European socialist vibe. Everything about this place reminds me of the long summers spent by lake Balaton. :)

The breakfast I had was perfect with a generous portion. Leaving an honest 5-star review is like a double edge sword. This place is worth it and more, but my only issue with this review, is it will get so busy (and it is a small establishment) that it will get over-run.

The sausage baguette is a real banger, delicious and I couldn't even finish that in one go

Really good English Breakfast! The place was small and cozy. It looked like a very local cafe/diner style place. It is situated in an industrial area surrounded by factories and I believe the factory workers around there frequent this place. A place for the working class people. The food was absolutely delicious, the sausages and bacon were savoury. The beans, mushrooms, eggs and chips tasted fresh. It was a nice and warm meal. The meals include toast and with orange juice or coffee. The place had space for 16-20 people. The prices were very reasonable and mostly under 10 pound. It’s not your typical breakfast place you’d find in London but it certainly had its charm. The owner/cook was nice too! This place accepts cash only and we didn’t know that before hand but the owner allowed us to do a bank transfer which was very accommodating. Would definitely visit this place again!
